Sable Island is located about 300 kilometers off the coast of Nova Scotia, at 44°N 60°W. The island is approximately 44 kilometers long and 3 kilometers wide. Because the island is largely a sand bar, its shape and size have shifted dramatically throughout its recorded history.
An estimated 350 vessels are believed to have fallen victim to the island's sand bars. Thick fogs, treacherous currents, and the island's location in the middle of a major transatlantic shipping route
The area around Sable Island is often referred to as the Graveyard of the Atlantic. Sable lies near the junction of major ocean currents, a "cross roads" of ocean currents. The Belle Isle Current/Labrador Current/Gulf Stream. The cold and warm currents merging cause heavy fog to frequently blankets the Island.
The first recorded wreck was in 1583, the most recent in 1999. Few wrecks are visible on the island as the ships are usually crushed and buried by the sand.
Since the time of the earliest European visitors to Nova Scotia, Sable Island has been the bane and saviour of sailors.
Between 1755 and 1763, Acadians (Old "capital" of Acadia=Port Royal, Annapolis) were deported from Nova Scotia by British authorities. Thomas Hancock (Boston merchant and shipowner) was paid to transport Acadians to the American colonies. The Acadians were forced to abandon all their livestock. It appears that Hancock; who became one of Boston's wealthiest men, helped himself to some of their horses and put them to pasture on Sable Island. http://museum.gov.ns.ca/mnh/nature/sableisland/english_en/nature_na/horses_ho/horses-came_ho.htm
As they became wild, they went back to their natural social system of small herds, each defended by a stallion.
A snipp from Joseph Howe's (1804-1873) poem 'Sable Island'
The fascination of the Siren's song,
The shadow of the fatal Upas tree;
The Serpent's eye that lures the bird along
To certain doom--less deadly are than thee
Even in thy hours of calm serenity,
When on thy sands the lazy seals repose,
And steeds, unbridled, sporting carelessly,
Crop the rank grass that on thy bosom grows,
While round the timid hare his glance of caution throws.

The Azores connection was working to strengthen the Templar grids and programs, still working after the Templar move out of France, then put in a holding mode with the rest of the Grid and Solarian/Templar program until now when it should be coming back up to speed. I suspect that the Azores’ connection in the Templar era was energetically linked to La Rochelle (Reshel Titan Oceanus Grid center - click below image), Sintra, probably the seaport Edinburgh, sea/island areas of Hebrides and Orkneys, Nova Scotia, Bornholm ...all in a vast sea matrix supporting the land grids.
If this is true, then the Azores would have been the only physical main temple in the original Atlan system ...also an intermediate site into the Americas to be. (Ruta had placed the Bakhira Grid there from North Dakota into the South Atlantic/Western Europe to Eastern Pacific.
I also wish to point out that the cetaceans’ minds are greater than ours, with higher spiritual intelligence and function. We’re in a water planet. The sea kingdoms may be more potent but it seems that they support us. Also recall that the Cetacean Ray/Sign is the 13th zodiacal sign and the reason St. Columba combined the whale and bird in his Lindisfarne L (see the forthcoming
report on the Hendaye L Grid). Perhaps with Ruta not here for so long that the Azores became the one last functional sea castle/temple for this side of the Planet, Hawaii for the other.

Henry Sinclair became known as "Glooscap", the white Micmac god. He built a castle and buried the Holy Grail (and perhaps the Arc of the Covenant as well) in a mysterious deep shaft on Oak Island. All except two ships returned to the Orkneys, and Henry Sinclair wintered in Nova Scotia during which time he and his men built a larger ship . . . or so the story goes. http://www.tartans.com/articles/holygrail.html
Nova Scotia also known as Arcadia/New Scotland or Francis Bacon's New Atlantis
Sora writes "Arcadia was the true Garden of Eden, lost to the modren medieval world. It was life in a pure state, where thought and deed where free....fromt he threat of offical punishment by the church and state. Sir Francis Bacon and other believe this world would exist only outside Europe. They believed in the creation of a new country in which certain freedoms would be guaranteed and all religions would be tolerated. Bacon discribed this country in his classic work, The New Atlantis. Interestingly enough, the french name for NS was 'L'Acadie'. A label applied from the native Micmac would for the land Akkah, related to the lenape hakee. Soro goes on to speculate,"If these selected families [that back the first new world explorers] had a secret society that mysteriously placed a great value on St.John the Baptist, it is more then coincidence that John Cabot, Jacques Cartier, and Samuel de Champlain all [are said to have] reached the New World on his feast day. New Ross/Charing Cross
In the backyard of the home of Glenn Pennoyer in the village of New Ross, 17 miles north of Chester, Nova Scotia Province, Canada, there is an area called The Castle at the Cross. Only ruins remain today of an ancient structure. Researchers believe it was built by 14th Century Norsemen and Scots, based on designs in the rubblework masonry. Several items were found around these ruins, including a much corroded pin, portion of a sword blade, wooden cones, and bits and pieces of iron implements. From the scanty ruins, it is thought that the Castle had guard towers, a main gate with pillars, and a dome or cone. Some historians believe this was a settlement by Prince Henry Sinclair, as shown in the lower left of the famous Zeno Map of the North. http://www.geocities.com/maria_monte_aguiar/Henry_Sinclair.htmlStain Glass Window @ Church of Zion; Yarmouth NS (HartLand)

Pan (Greek Πάν, genitive Πανός), in Greek religion and mythology, is the companion of the nymphs, god of shepherds and flocks, of mountain wilds, hunting and rustic music. His name originates within the Greek language, from the word paein, meaning "to pasture". He has the hindquarters, legs, and horns of a goat, in the same manner as a faun or satyr. With his homeland in rustic Arcadia.

This Rosicrucian print clearly shows two nova events that occurred at the beginning of the 17th century, one in Ophiuchus and the other in Cygnus. Cygnus is also known as the Northern Cross, it has a star partway between the bottom and center of the cross, just like the Oak Island Cross. I maintain that the only reasonable explanation for the presence of a Cygnus-like cross on Oak Island is because of the Cygnus nova of 1600 and its significance to the Rosicrucians, as proved by this print which just happens to match the exact OI cross configuration AND the double star figure which just happens to match a formation of islands South of Oak Island and just happens to have the intersection of its two centerlines exactly at the Money Pit location. jb1717

Cool, cool stuff. The horses are interesting. I just fixed my old goddess post and added a bit about horses. Mary, and other goddesses with similar names Mar/Mer/etc. usually refer to the sea, the bitter sea, or the primordial sea. The god of the sea is Poseiden/Neptune, and he is also the god of horses. The word "mare" means "sea" in Latin, and also means "female horse"!
Well, I'm gonna go check out some of those links now - man, I have too much reading to do :( My desktop is covered in links to websites I promised myself I'd read and still haven't gotten too. Somehow, even without a job, I don't have enough time in the day to read everything I want!
